Deakin University’s computer science labs have embraced the Botanist bench as the perfect solution for sleek, discreet seating that adds both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Designed by world-renowned creatives, the Botanist bench offers a minimalist, slim-line aluminum profile with an industrial-grade powder-coat finish, providing a strong and durable seating option. The bench also provides an opportunity for branding or custom perforations, making it an ideal choice for educational and commercial settings alike
For this project, Thomson Adsett created custom artwork with a single line of computer coding, perfectly tailored for the technology-focused environment of the computer labs. The bench’s adaptability allows for easy movement and flexible use, enabling students to sit in groups or reposition the seating in front of workstations. An additional adjustable foot was added to ensure the bench could be easily leveled, distributing weight evenly across the carpet flooring.
